Thank you to all of our neighbors who have been so faithful in their dedication to going green and keeping our area beautiful! The new recycling numbers are in and we couldn't be more proud of the Intermountain area! Great job, everyone! 

The following numbers are year-to-date totals and reflect recycling efforts since January of 2011

Waste Oil: 1,325 Gallons, Enough to fill more than two dozen bath tubs to the very top. 

E-Waste: 17.6 Tons, More than the weight of two adult male elephants. 

Scrap Iron: 24.98 Tons, More than the weight of two monster trucks. 

Appliances: 38.3 Tons, More than the weight of FOUR orca whales. 

Vehicle Batteries: 62 Total, More than 2,400 lbs. of batteries.

Thank you to all of you for supporting our recycling efforts and keep up the good work! Remember, recycle with us at the Burney Transfer Station on Black Ranch Road every Wednesday and Saturday from 8 a.m. until 4 p.m.
