It’s time for another Recycling Report and all of us at BDI would like to applaud your efforts to keep the Intermountain area green. As these numbers grow, we can see your enthusiasm grow with it and we are so proud to be a part of your recycling movement!

The following numbers are year-to-date totals and reflect recycling efforts since January of 2011

Waste Oil: 1,565 Gallons, enough to fill 71 3-foot kiddie pools!

Waste Filters: Aprox. 500, enough to fill a 55-gallon drum!

E-Waste: 24.89 Tons, more than the combined weight of 216 average-sized American soldiers and their gear! 

Scrap Iron: 45.9 Tons, as much as the combined weight of 153 adult-male grizzly bears!

Appliances: 44.6 Tons, As much as the combined weight of 281 Sumo Wrestlers!

Vehicle Batteries: 62 Total, More than 2,400 lbs. of batteries!

Thank you to all of you for supporting our recycling efforts and keep up the good work! Remember, recycle with us at the Burney Transfer Station on Black Ranch Road every Wednesday and Saturday from 8 a.m. until 4 p.m.
