BDI's Elizabeth Tyler Honored as "Paul Harris Fellow" by Local Rotary Club

18-May-2017 All of us at Burney Disposal, Inc. are honored to announce that our Elizabeth Tyler was named a Paul Harris Fellow by The Rotary Club of Burney and Fall River Mills. This honor is shared with more than one million Rotarians all over the world including the likes of U.S. President Jimmy Carter, Russian President Boris Yeltsin, U.S. Astronaut James Lovell, UN Secretary-General Javier Perez de Cuellar and Jonas Salk. The Paul Harris society was founded in 1957 to show appreciation for contributions of $1,000 or more to Rotary International's global work and philanthropy efforts. Elizabeth reached the $1,000 mark with the help of her fellow Rotarians who made donations to Paul Harris contributions in her name. Elizabeth was presented with a certificate, pendant and pin at her office by fellow Rotarian, Roger Borky who made the trip across town to make an in-person presentation as Elizabeth was unable to attend the ceremony. After the award was presented, Elizabeth said, " I am so proud to be counted among the amazing men and women in this local Rotary club. These are the real world-changers and being honored by them in this way is truly humbling."

Burney Disposal, Inc. extends sincere gratitude for this honor and reaffirms our dedication to helping Rotary with its local efforts, as we have since our establishment in 1977. Back To Recent News
