Burney Disposal Efforts Focus on Fire Support

10-Aug-2015

As most of you know, fires in Trinity County are demanding resources from far and wide to assist with support. Burney Disposal is proud to serve the U.S. Forest Service in the effort to contain the blazes and has shifted a tremendous amount of resources to assist fire fighting efforts by hauling debris from fire camps and staging areas. Due to this effort we ask our other drop box customers for patience and understanding as we work to service your accounts. Our usual same-day and next-day service may be delayed slightly due to the fire efforts. Please be assured you are all valued customers and we will make sure to service your bin in as timely a manner as possible.

Helpful Hints:

Monitor your bin and call for service 2 or more days before you will need it pulled. Let the office staff know that you are calling in advance and would like to schedule a bin pick up for two or more days out.

Break down boxes and larger items if possible to maintain more space in your bin.

Do not fill the bin above the fill level line. Doing so will only cause more delay as you will have to remove excess debris before our truck can pick up the bin.

Do not pack the bin or in any way manually compress the garbage inside. This, too, will add to delays as federal Department of Transportation weight limits must be adhered to by our drivers.

If you have any questions, please do not hesitate to call the office at 530-335-2723. We are always here to help!
