Fall River Transfer Site Re-Opens Despite Bridge Closure

16-Sep-2015 Burney Disposal, Inc. is very pleased to announce that after only four days of closure, affecting zero operational days, the Fall River Transfer Station is reopening without rate increase, despite the bridge closure. The Fall River Transfer Station will be open the first and third Saturday of every month from 8 a.m. until 4 p.m. giving our many, valued customers in the Fall River Valley a place to bring their garbage without driving to Burney. In cooperation with long-standing contacts at Shasta County and careful planning by our management team, this solution has been approved. The alternating Saturdays will help decrease traffic past homes and properties along the alternative routes, especially by our large vehicles. We hope this compromise will serve both the transfer station customers and their neighbors who live along alternative routes. If you have any questions, please feel free to contact our office at 530-335-2723. A printable calendar of our new Fall River Transfer Station dates will be published to www.burneydisposal.com by the end of the week to help residents transition smoothly to the new schedule. As always, thank you to our Fall River Valley customers for your understanding and support as we navigate solutions to offset the affects of the closure of this bridge.  We are thrilled to be able to continue our 38-year history of service to you and your families.
