Free Cardboard Recycling: Residential & Commercial

24-Apr-2017  The Burney Transfer Station, located at 21105 Black Ranch Rd, is currently accepting free cardboard recycling for BOTH residential and commercial customers during public days (Wednesdays and Saturdays from 8 a.m. until 4 p.m.) The cardboard must be flat, dry and clean with no wax-coating or glossy-coating. Because the cardboard must be dry in order to be accepted by recyclers, our free program is available weather permitting. If it is raining outside on a public day, please assume we will not be receiving cardboard for free recycling on that day. For more information, please call our office at 530-335-2723 or stop by and see us at 37484B Cornaz Drive in Burney. Office hours are 7 a.m. until 5 p.m. M-F. The office and transfer stations are closed on some major holidays. Please call with questions regarding holiday hours.

* Please note: Rural recycling programs are dependent on market rates and hauling costs. BDI currently operates ALL of our recycling programs at a loss. When market rates create extreme financial strain, programs may be put on hold in order to avoid rate hikes for customers. Please be patient as we attempt to offer as many free and low-cost recycling programs as we possibly can. For more information call 530-335-2723 and ask for Elizabeth Tyler. Back To Recent News
