Intermountain Earth Week April 16-22

Intermountain Earth Week is a collaboration between Burney Disposal and the Tri-County Community Network and strives to connect the citizens of the Intermountain Area with environmental volunteer opportunities. Various clubs and groups will be organizing community clean ups and beatification projects between April 16 and 22 in honor of Earth Day.

Burney Disposal, Inc. will round out the week by donating a 30-yard drop box for free disposal of garbage collected throughout the week. The drop box will be staged at the Intermountain Community Center on Sunday, April 22 from 9 a.m. until 1 p.m. or until the bin is full. Groups and organizations can bring unlimited garbage to put in the bin and individuals can bring up to two yard-size (32 gallon) trash bags to dispose of free of charge. Intermountain Earth week is the first community-wide Earth Day activity to take place in the Intermountain Area in recent history! The vision behind it is to unify the community for the cause of environmental stewardship!
