Snow May Affect Pick-Up in Outlying Areas

14-Mar-2018 Ahh, Spring in the mountains. Just days ago we were all out enjoying the sun and today we have snow flying and chain requirements. This too shall pass, but probably not for a couple of months. In the mean time we want to do our best to provide excellent service to all of our customers and while snow may be able to stop our trucks from reaching you if you live in outlying areas, it can not stop us from doing our best to make the most out of a slick situation. If your service is missed for weather-related reasons, please give us a call. We are happy to issue snow credits and pick up twice the usual amount of garbage the week following the interruption (assuming weather has cleared up by then ... yikes!). If you have any questions, please feel free to give us a call at 530-335-2723. We are open M-F from 7 a.m. until 5 p.m. to answer questions and help you the very best we can. As for news on whether your garbage will be picked up on any given day, please head over to our Facebook page at www.facebook.com/burneydisposal. The page is updated often and will reflect interruptions in service as soon as they are reported to the depot by our drivers. Please keep in mind that the drivers are out very early in the morning so news may not be instantly available online. As soon as we receive information from them, we'll make sure to post it right away! If you do not use Facebook, you can call our office at 7 a.m. to check if we have information on whether your account will be picked up or missed due to weather. We would be happy to assist you by phone with these matters any time during business hours. Thank you all for your understanding of the safety concerns of driving on snowy, icy roads with heavy trucks. Our drivers thank you for your kind consideration. We really do have the best customers!
Again, if you have any questions whatsoever please call the office at 530-335-2723 and we will do our best to answer them.
Stay warm and safe!
