Thanksgiving Holiday Hours

01-Nov-2018

It's never too early to plan for the holidays and at Burney Disposal, Inc. we're already thinking about pumpkin pie and turkey fresh from the oven! To make sure our plans don't interfere with yours, please mark your calendars according to the following holiday schedule:

The Burney Disposal, Inc. office will be closed from Noon on Wednesday, November 21 until 7 a.m. Monday, November 26. If you need to ask questions, pay your bill over the phone or in person, or make any account changes leading up to the Thanksgiving holiday, please be sure to do so before noon on the 21st. Our web-pay and door-drop are always available for your bill paying convenience and you can find the answers to many commonly asked questions at www.burneydisposal.com or on our facebook page at facebook.com/burneydisposal.

Curbside collection is never interrupted by holidays. If your pick-up day falls on Thursday, Nov. 22 (Thanksgiving) please put your can's out the night before to ensure pick up on your regular pick up day. Your drivers will be out early in the morning and if you do not get your cans out on time, we will not be able to come back to your home or business until Monday the 26th. It is very important that you put your cans out the night before your pick up day every week to ensure proper pick up. Holidays make this even more important. Please mark your calendar and set a reminder to put those cans out the night before! Thank you!

The Burney and Fall River Mills transfer stations will be open with regular hours throughout November with no scheduled closures this month.

If you have any questions or need clarification about our holiday hours and procedures, please call the office before noon on November 21 so that we may assist you.

** Please bear in mind that November can bring snowy weather. While our drivers never plan to miss a pick up day, snow can be a factor in their ability to reach your home ... especially if you live in the outlying areas of Day Road or Big Bend. Please check in on this website or at facebook.com/burneydisposal for information on weather-related scheduling changes. As always, snow credits are given to any customer missed due to poor road conditions. You may call our office to discuss our winter-weather policy at 530-335-2723.

Have a blessed Thanksgiving holiday, from all of us at Burney Disposal, Inc.
