AB 341 Compliance Made Easy (And Inexpensive)

PaintCare Recycling at the Burney Transfer Station

Burney Disposal, Inc. is proud to announce the addition of the PaintCare program to our family of services effective October 1, 2015. Paint Care is a stewardship program funded by the per-can "PaintCare Recovery Fee" paid by paint consumers. The program partners with local entities such as Burney Disposal, Inc. to ensure that ALL accepted products are properly recycled!

The Burney Transfer Station located at 21105 Black Ranch Road in Burney will host the new program during its normal business hours (Wednesdays and Saturdays from 8 a.m. until 4 p.m.) and will accept the full list of PaintCare’s allowable products (see below). This program is free to the public and accepts products from both residential and business clients. Burney Disposal, Inc. is continuing its FREE paint exchange (leave a can, take a can) but it will now include ALL PaintCare program products (see below).

Burney Disposal encourages residents and businesses to gather up their cans of old paint, even the ones in bad condition or containing only dried paint. The contents of those “clutter cans” will be repurposed and reused right here in America. PaintCare products will be recycled into many new goods including new roads and even landscaping materials.

This partnership marks another benchmark in the local recycling landscape, which now offers residents pathways to recycle glass, aluminum, plastic, cardboard, metal, waste oil, anti-freeze, e-waste, vehicle batteries, household appliances, and now many paints, stains, shellacs, coatings, lacquers and more. Burney Disposal, Inc. is proud to link arms with other local businesses to provide such a great array of recycling options to the Intermountain Area. Together we achieve so much!
